How it works
Fiona Murden is a performance psychologist, best-selling author, and mom of two girls, one of them a college athlete who knows the same pressures your daughter faces.
She’s spent 20+ years helping athletes and young people build confidence, handle stress, and perform when it matters.
Now she’s bringing those same tools to your daughter, so she can feel more comfortable in her own skin, make stronger friendships, and play (and live) with more confidence.
Out of Your Mind was created by psychologist Fiona Murden and is built on the same mental tools used by elite athletes.
The difference? You don’t just sit and listen - you actually learn them while moving.
Before or after practice, you’ll do short activities that teach you how to stay calm, reset after mistakes, and focus when it counts. Then you try them out right away while you’re moving, which makes them stick in your body and your mind.
It works because when you move and learn at the same time, you remember more, you perform better, and it feels way less like “school.” Plus, you do it with your team, so it’s fun and you feel supported.

Think of it as mental training without the boring classroom vibe. The girls are moving, chatting, laughing and at the same time learning how to focus better, shake off stress, and feel more confident.

You’re daughter will feel more comfortable in her own skin, less anxious, and more at ease with people which makes it easier to make friends and feel like she belongs. At the same time, she’ll learn how to steady herself under pressure, bounce back fast from mistakes, and perform at her best without stress taking over whether that’s in sport, class, or just life. Best of all these are skills that will stay with her into college and beyond.
-
Your brain pays more attention when your body’s moving. Add other people into the mix, and it wires in trust and connection too. That’s why the skills actually stick.
